IT Assistant

As an IT Assistant, your key responsibilities will be:

• Working with IT Coordinator and other departments in order to implement a successful IT plan and provide advice on the most suitable IT choices while considering process innovation
• General daily workload will imply both data management (Excel) and basic IT support
• Assisting in the implementation of the IT plan, providing technical support
• Performing troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration as well as maintenance activities (e.g. backups)
• Diagnosing issues when computers or other technologies are not working as they should
• Liaise with our providers for any troubleshooting (Ring Central, Microsoft, Message Bird, programming team)
• Helping troubleshoot applications regarding Office365
• Preparing regular reports for IT Coordinator
• SharePoint backup
• Keeping track of latest updates for antivirus software and definitions
• Creating accounts for new employees, preparing equipment (cleaning up, installing operating systems, installing applications)
• Work with excel spreadsheets on daily basis – preparing project samples, merging and sorting database files
• Implementing website updates in WordPress on daily basis – publishing project related posts
• Additional tasks and activities assigned by IT Coordinator and other senior team members

Candidate requirements and skills:

• University degree in relevant field (Information Technology)
• English language (level B2+)
• Office 365 applications – Access, Excel, Word, Outlook
• Windows operating system maintenance
• Confident and highly motivated personality with a proactive attitude
• High levels of attention to detail
• Skills regarding managing workloads efficiently and in a timely manner
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Python and Remote monitoring and management (RMM) knowledge is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus

Working Hours:

• UK shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM GMT + 1
