Sales Representative in Malawi

As a Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will be:

• Sales of services from multiple connected companies
• Focus on day-to-day sales and building client relationship as the primary task
• Continuously monitoring the news in the field of Marketing and looking for opportunities,
• Adhering to set departmental goals
• Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
• Understanding and promoting company programs in line with the Marketing Department
o Preparing weekly reports for Marketing and Line Manager.
o Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Maintaining client database and records.
• Answering client questions about services, prices, and availability
• Creating relationships with new suppliers and clients,
• Attending monthly departmental meetings
• Followed by alternate/additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager or a Senior
Management member in charge

Candidate requirements and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or any related field.
• Experience in sales and/or marketing
o Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
o A commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers
and suppliers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
o Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Zoom, and Outlook
o A fair grasp of the Internet of Things
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced international environment
• Highly self-motivated
• Working Knowledge of CRM Systems

Working Hours:
• Malawi shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM GMT + 2
